Compliance and Internal Control (CIC) provides compliance consulting services to help the University identify, assess, and manage compliance risks while promoting accountability and adherence to applicable federal and state laws, 麻豆传媒社区入口 (CSU) policies, and University procedures.
Campus departments partner with CIC to strengthen compliance practices and support continuous improvement through guidance in the following areas:
Accessibility Compliance
Serves as a member of the 麻豆传媒社区入口 East Bay Assistive Technology Initiative (ATI) Committee, collaborating with campus stakeholders to support accessibility compliance for:
- University websites and web-based content
- Instructional materials and digital learning resources
- Electronic information resources and information technology (IT)
As part of its participation on the ATI Committee, CIC provides consultation and guidance, as needed, to help departments understand and meet CSU accessibility requirements and incorporate accessibility best practices into campus operations.
Compliance Consultation and Guidance
Provides consultation, research, and guidance on compliance-related matters to assist departments in understanding and meeting applicable legal, regulatory, CSU policy, and University requirements. Services may include:
- Reviewing proposed processes, procedures, and forms
- Providing recommendations to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation
Through collaboration, consultation, and continuous improvement, Compliance Consulting helps departments proactively address compliance obligations, strengthen institutional practices, and support the University's overall governance and risk management efforts.
