Veterans Advisory Committee (VAC)

📌 The VAC Is a Student Voice at the University Level — advocating for veteran student needs at the policy level.

The Veterans Advisory Committee supports student veterans by enhancing their educational experience, strengthening retention and degree completion, easing the military-to-campus transition, and providing a direct channel for advocacy, feedback, and collaboration with CSUEB leadership.

Policy Advocacy

Advises CSUEB administration on veteran student needs, service gaps, and policy changes that support retention & success.

Program Review

Reviews and provides feedback on VSS programs and services to ensure they meet student needs.

Campus Collaboration

Collaborates with campus departments to expand veteran-inclusive programming and partnerships.

Leadership Development

Connects veteran students with leadership opportunities, professional development, and community building.

  4. Include your name, student ID, and a brief statement
  5. Attend VAC meetings and advocate for veteran students
