Administered by California Dept. of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) — NOT the federal VA. Waives mandatory system-wide tuition and fees for eligible dependents of CA veterans.

Mandatory system-wide tuition & fees for state-supported programs at CCC, CSU, and UC campuses.

| NOT Covered: |
Books, parking, room & board, supplemental fees, extension/online/non-degree programs.
|
| Who Qualifies: |
California residents who are dependents of veterans with a VA disability rating. Income limits apply.

| How to Apply: |
- Verify eligibility at
- Complete application
- Submit to your County Veterans Service Office
- Send Authorization Code to StudentFinance@CSUEastBay.edu

| Renewal: |
Must renew every academic year, generally every summer.
