CSUBuy Registration for Individuals

CSUBuy is the 麻豆传媒社区入口’s centralized platform for supplier registration, procurement transactions, and payment processing across all CSU campuses. If you are an individual receiving payment from CSU East Bay, you may need to register as a supplier in CSUBuy before your payment can be processed.

This page is designed for individuals such as guest speakers, honoraria recipients, consultants, and other one-time or occasional payees. If you are not already registered, an ORSP Analyst will send you an invitation email to begin the registration process. If you have already completed registration in CSUBuy, you do not need to register again.

To avoid delays: Make sure the name and Tax ID you enter in CSUBuy match your W-9 exactly.

What You Will Need

Completed W-9

You will need to upload a completed W-9 during registration.

Download the W-9 from the IRS website:

Your name in Box 1 of the W-9 must match the legal name you enter in CSUBuy. Most individuals should use their Social Security Number as their Tax ID.

Tax ID

You will need to enter a Tax ID. For most individuals, this is a Social Security Number.

If you use an Employer Identification Number, it must be tied to you personally and must match the W-9 you upload.

Address Information

CSUBuy asks for three address types:

Physical Address: Your street address. This cannot be a PO Box. Your 1099 will be mailed here.

Remittance Address: The address where check payments should be mailed.

Where to Send Purchase Orders: The address or email where CSU should send purchase orders.

In most cases, individuals may use the same address or email for all three.

Contact Information

Please have your name, email address, and phone number ready. CSU may use this information if there are questions about your registration or payment.

Payment Information

All suppliers must add a check payment method, even if direct deposit is preferred.

You may also add ACH/direct deposit. To do so, you will need your bank name, routing number, account number, and account type. The bank account must be in your name.

CSU Employment Information

CSUBuy asks whether you have been employed by CSU or a CSU auxiliary.

This question refers only to employment. It does not include being paid as an independent contractor, guest speaker, consultant, or honoraria recipient.
